I used to check BMW Motorrad Intl site like once in a month or so. And when I opened it this morning it was real different. RNineTs got their own column, but that’s not important.
The real change is that K1300S/K1300R big fours completely disappeared from the page. And after a quick googling it seems that the only mention of the bikes’ ending production could be found on some !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
Sure, S1000 models that K1300 conceded to, may be superior, but the fact that these fine big machines with Duolever suspension are no longer made is rather saddening.

It was a sacrifice they made to make room for their new scooter lineup.

Yup. Nobody cares. How many hundreds did they sell last year anyways?

IDK, how many, just wondered why this isn’t in the news. Like, why random youtube video of questionable significance can make headlines, but EoL of interesting (even if unpopular) bikes isn’t worth even small mention by motorcycle press

Perhaps, they’re trying to sell leftovers
